Debate: Does the Universe have a purpose ?

November 13th, a debate over whether or not the universe has a purpose was debated by two teams. One team (Atheists) included Richard Dawkins, Michael Shermer, and Matt Ridley. The other team (Theists) was composed of William Lane Craig, Douglas Geivett, and Rabbi David Wolpe. This was the third annual International Festival of Great Minds, which was held in Puebla, Mexico.
